We have so many people who love our bars, and more are discovering them all the time. Our athlete ambassadors and teams are instrumental in making this happen, as they pass out bars to folks they meet on the trail, at races or while coaching camps and clinics. Just so you can get to know some of the folks who help spread the word about Kate’s, we’ve picked their brain a bit more about who they are and why they do what they do!
Today’s Spotlight: Tammy Donahugh
Tammy’s Facebook profile says it all:
I am completely addicted to riding bikes and still think I’m only 20 years old…
As a Trails Specialist for the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) based in Boulder, CO- the girl can ride! Tammy not only builds trails and bike parks, she turns around and rips all the features once they are complete!
Her most recent accomplishment includes hosting Dixie Trix, a weekend of coaching, riding and competition at the Ranchstyle Park near Grand Junction, CO. The SuperCo Bikes sponsored event took place over the same weekend as the Ranchstyle Mountain Bike Festival and over the course of two days, riders participated in skills clinics with an opportunity to compete and spectate a women’s only slopestyle contest on a course built specifically for the ladies.
This August you can find Tammy building the stoke at yet another women’s riding camp Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia. Keep up with Tammy via Facebook or Twitter for events she’s hosting and other awesomeness.
