The Wild Nearby: Discover Wyoming’s State Parks with Kate’s Real Food
This summer, adventure is closer than you think.
Kate’s Real Food is proud to announce a new partnership with Wyoming State Parks, designed to spotlight the beauty of local outdoor destinations and fuel a season of exploration. As part of our new summer campaign, The Wild Nearby: A State Park Guide, we’re encouraging outdoor lovers to rediscover the magic of nature—in their own backyards.
A Movement Toward Local Adventure
According to the National Association of State Park Directors, more than 877 million visitors explored state-run parks in 2022—nearly triple the attendance at national park sites. State parks are capturing attention for their accessibility, diverse landscapes, and incredible recreation opportunities, offering something for everyone from casual day hikers to seasoned backpackers.
In Wyoming, the shift toward local outdoor travel is even more evident. In 2023, Wyoming State Parks and Historic Sites welcomed nearly 5.3 million visitors, their second-highest count ever.
Fueling Exploration in the Cowboy State
“Wyoming’s landscapes are where our brand was born, so we’re especially excited to bring attention to the beauty and accessibility of the state park system here,” said Brittany Thaler, EVP of Marketing at Kate’s Real Food. “State parks provide the perfect chance to get outside—and we want to make sure you have the right fuel to do it.”
Through this partnership, Kate’s Real Food and Wyoming State Parks will collaborate to:
-
Develop co-branded materials and outdoor travel guides
-
Offer statewide event support and product giveaways
-
Highlight under-the-radar parks and local travel stories through national marketing efforts
Together, we’re celebrating the importance of outdoor access, conservation, and community connection.
