Here's something most people don't know about our granola: it exists because we refused to waste good food.
When we make our energy bars, there's always extra — the ends of runs, pieces that don't fit the bar mold, crumbles that are too small to wrap. Every one of those pieces is made from the same organic oats, honey, nut butters, and dried fruit as the bars themselves. Same recipe. Same ingredients. Same quality.
Most companies throw that away. We did the math and realized we were looking at over a million dollars worth of perfectly good food headed for the bin. So we started bagging it instead.
That's how Kate's Granola was born. Not from a product development meeting. From a refusal to waste real food.

Why It's Always Fresh
Because our granola comes from active bar production runs, every bag is made from the most recent batch. It doesn't sit in a warehouse waiting to be sold. When we run a batch of Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate bars, the granola from that run gets bagged right away.
That means two things for you: it's always fresh, and the available flavors rotate based on what we're producing that week.
If your favorite flavor is sold out, check back. It'll return the next time we run that flavor in production. It's not discontinued — it's just waiting for its next batch.
